Is This Right for Your Concrete?

Resin-bound stone is not right for every slab. Before installation, we review the existing concrete for cracks, movement, drainage, edges, slope, surface condition, and access. Some surfaces are strong candidates for resurfacing. Others may need repair or replacement first.

Resin-bound surfacing FAQ

What is resin-bound surfacing?

Resin-bound surfacing is a real-stone system where natural aggregate is mixed with UV-stable resin and finished into a seamless decorative surface. It creates the look of natural stone without loose gravel.

Can resin-bound stone go over existing concrete?

Yes, if the concrete is stable, properly prepared, and suitable after review. Cracked, moving, heaving, or poorly draining concrete may need repair or may not be a good candidate.

Is resin-bound surfacing the same as epoxy?

No. Epoxy coatings are typically thin decorative coatings over concrete. Resin-bound stone uses real aggregate bound with resin to create a textured natural-stone surface.
